Yumify Return, Exchange & Refund Policy (Compliant with FSSAI & Applicable Laws)

At Yumify, we are committed to delivering safe, high-quality food products. Being a manufacturer and seller of perishable and consumable goods, we strictly follow FSSAI guidelines and the judicial practices applicable in India, particularly under the jurisdiction of Kolkata, West Bengal.

Important:

As per FSSAI norms, perishable food products such as ghee, honey, snacks, beverages, and instant mixes are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of:

  • Damaged or defective products

  • Wrong product delivery

  • Product quality complaint


Return Policy

  • We do not accept returns for food products, beverages, or any consumable goods due to health, hygiene, and food safety reasons, unless there is a valid case of defect, damage, or quality issue reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • For any eligible return, the product must be:

    • In unused, unopened condition

    • In its original packaging

    • Reported with supporting images within 48 hours of receiving the order


Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or used products

  • Products without original packaging

  • Perishable items where seal or tamper-proof packaging is broken

  • Sale or promotional items

  • Gift cards or free products


Return & Exchange Procedure

  • In case of genuine concerns related to damage, defect, or wrong product:

    • Please email us at yumifystore@gmail.com with your order details, images, and the issue description.

    • Valid complaints will be resolved through replacement or credit note only, at the sole discretion of Yumify.

    • We do not entertain monetary refunds due to the perishable nature of the goods.


Refund Policy

  • Monetary refunds will be initiated only if the ordered item is unavailable and cannot be replaced.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 10-15 business days of approval via the original payment method.


Jurisdiction

All claims, disputes, and legal matters will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
